Beautiful Images at this Gorgeous Jersey City Wedding Venue with Views of Manhattan
The day started off gloomy, rainy and foggy; not the most ideal conditions to photograph. On top of that, it was the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year. We had very little time and poor weather conditions to work with.
That wouldn’t stop us.
The team and I kept our heads, as we always do, and crushed this wedding day and made the most of the conditions. As wedding photographers, we have to be prepared for the worst case scenario. Michelle and Mike were an incredible couple. We had an amazing time at their wedding and really loved the work of all vendors involved.
The first look between this perfect couple took place at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City and was the perfect setting for an indoor first look. Because of the fog and daylight constraints, we shot this beautiful, pre wedding ceremony moment indoors in front of a Christmas tree. We love how it turned out!
Our favorite part of the Liberty House’s amazing wedding ballroom was the view of New York City through the large windows. This Jersey City wedding looked like it took place in outer space with the amazing bulbs placed all around over the ceiling. At the end of the night, once the rain, fog and clouds cleared, we took our couple outside for a quick post-midnight photo session. We wanted to end this Jersey City wedding with a bang and we nailed it with some perfect photos in front of Lower Manhattan’s beautiful skyline.
Stay tuned for the wedding film, releasing in the next couple weeks!
